Behavior Therapy Services
Behavior therapy services are designed to provide parents and care providers with an opportunity to develop the skills tha tare necessary to safely and effectively address inappropriate behaviors. Typically these services are provided when families are having difficulty with specific behaviors that occur throughout the individual's daily routine. In addressing these specific problems we attempt to help those we assist to develop a sound understanding of the theory of Positive Behavioral Supports. By developing these skills we work to give families the skills that they need in order to handle any situations that may arise.
Behavior therapy services typically last about six months and begin with an assessment of the problematic behaviors. Integration Plus, Inc. uses the completes a functional behavioral assessment prior to working with the family to identify skills that will result in the display of more appropriate behaviors.
