Direct Training Staff - Job Description

Pay Range:  $7.65 - $8.50

Direct Care workers at Integration Plus, Inc. provide daily supports as needed to individuals who reside at the supported living facilities or who are receiving services through the respite program.  Primary responsibilities for this position fall into the following categories:

1) Provide for the general welfare, safety and security of the individuals who receive services from Integration Plus, Inc.  Specific responsibilities in this area include but are not limited to: providing supervision during planned and unplanned activities, providing transportation to and from school, work, home visits, and appointments, provide assistance in maintaining a safe and clean home environment for the children to live in, meal preparation, assistance with personal hygiene tasks, and giving attention to medical and financial needs. 

2) Through verbal interaction and written communication, relay pertinent information pertaining to the individual’s care and progress toward identified goals to co-workers, parents, guardians, physicians, counselors, teachers, case managers, and other treatment team members, as required.

3) Consistently and effectively implement the treatment plan that has been developed for the individual.

4) Represent themselves and Integration Plus, Inc. in a professional manner when dealing with outside agencies, families and co-workers.   ntegration Plus, Inc. is always looking for caring, qualified applicants who are looking to help make a difference in the lives of those that we serve.  Upon being hired employees of Integration Plus, Inc. are required to complete a variety of training courses including training on providing Positive Behavioral Supports,  first aide,  CPR,  medication administration, and CPI.
